Prerequisite

To access the Actions Unload Plan Vessel option you must have the UNLOAD_PLAN_RAIL (Cargo Lot Unload Plan - Rail) privilege.

You can use the Discharge Plan - Rail form to create an unload plan to discharge a cargo lot from a train by specifying the quantity. When you save the discharge plan, N4 creates a work instruction which can be viewed in the Cargo Lot Inspector (on page 1) and Work Instructions view. The Work Queue field in the Discharge Plan - Rail form is auto populated with a WQ of type discharge and Pos Loc type that is Train or Railcar.

You can select multiple cargo lots provided all the selected lots are on the same train visit or the associated train visit of the railcar visit.
To perform a rail unload action, the cargo lot on the railcar or train should not be a default lot.
The carrier visit phase should either be inbound/through train.
The workqueue in this form is auto populated with a WQ of type discharge with Pos Loc type that is Train or Railcar.When you select multiple cargo lots, N4 automatically plans the remaining quantity for all the cargo lots.

N4 decides the planned position based on the yard position selection algorithm based on the storage handling code and the available slots mentioned in the cargo allocation range. If the slots are fully planned or occupied, the plan is created to the default position defined in the setting CGOGENERAL_CARGO_PLANNING001 (DFLT_POS_DISCHARGE) (on page 1).
